To improve your interview skills, be prepared to sell your skills to meet the needs of the employer and develop your ability to gain rapport with the interview panel

Know that the interview panel are mainly going to evaluate three specific aspects of your candidacy - your competence, your drive and your team working skills

Your competence often includes factors related to your training, qualifications and experience

Your drive will refer to your ability to show persistence and the presence of a 5-, 10- and 20- year career plan

Your team working skills are harder to specify, but will include your experiences of working within a team, your communication skills, your ability to handle stress and your ability to manage change - amongst other things!
Work out how you can sell these skills better, by thinking through all the different selling points you can make under these three categories and also by developing stories, through which you will be able to sell those skills more elegantly

I have a selection of free resources aimed mainly at helping candidates preparing for their medical interview, but their is plenty of generic information their to help any candidate who wants to prepare more intelligently.
